Jeff Mahoney writes about the newly renovated Central Public Library in his column in the Hamilton Spectator, print edition, Dec. 29, 2010:
“It’s like a shimmering new skin on York Boulevard, striped with pulsing coloured lights against glass. And as you stand this week at the gate of a new year, if there is time to experience just one thing to give your spirits a lift about this crazy city and its yearning to be beautiful, and to be better, treat yourself to the recently completed renovation at the Hamilton Public Library (central branch) and adjoining Farmers Market.”
