In response to the Feb. 11 article about David Premi, Principal of dp.Ai, Beverly Myhal of Ancaster, has written a letter to the editor of The Spectator with her opinion that the “New Home Doesn’t Suit Neighbourhood”. She feels that ”in building his new modern home on the old burned-out plot, the incongruous structure is destroying the urban harmony and integrity of the neighbourhood and its “cosiness.”
What are your thoughts about this - should we always strive to “preserve the heritage of communities” instead of mixing in a variety of design elements?
