David Premi is very pleased to announce that Roland Mech has joined the dp.Ai team as Senior Associate.  Roland is a native Hamiltonian and has just completed a long tenure at Cannon Design (formerly Moffat Kinoshita).

Roland brings 22 years of experience in institutional design and construction, including expertise in Education, Student Housing, Sports and Recreation, and Library projects.  His impressive track record in leadership positions makes Roland a pivotal addition to the office.  His skills and experience span all aspects of the practice of architecture from marketing through to contract administration. 

As project manager, Mr. Mech meticulously oversees project implementation throughout all project stages. His approach combines sensitivity to clients’ design and program expectations with careful attention to cost and schedule.  As a LEED-accredited professional, Mr. Mech plays a stewardship role in the economic use of resources in the design and construction processes.

Roland was an early adopter of Green building practices, and is a Licensed Technologist with the Ontario Association of Architects.  He currently serves as President of the Ontario Association for Applied Architectural Sciences.
